Musiqa Miniatures (2011) In celebration of Musiqa’s tenth anniversary season, each of the artistic board members composed a variation on the same well-known theme.  The variations proceed in order of membership: Co-founders Anthony Brandt, Karim Al-Zand and Pierre Jalbert go first, followed by Rob Smith, who joined in 2004, and Marcus Maroney, who joined in 2007.  To coordinate with each other, the composers mapped out the instrumentation (additive), key and the progression of tempi.
